Many Islamic events occurred in Muharram. However, the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) is highly specific. Rallies and processions pay tribute to the family and grandson of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) on the 10th of Muharram. The scholars of Islam describe the importance of this month in mosques and Imambargah. People not only organize the events on small levels but also on large scale. People arrange food and water supply at every short distance on this day.

The New Islamic year is starting from 9th August, according to the English calendar 2021. So the day of Ashura will be after the starting of the first Islamic month. Muharram ul Haram Date 2021 will be18th and 19th August. On this day the Shia Muslim Community solace on the death of Hussain Ibn Ali who died during the Karbala War. Karbala is the pilgrim center in Iraq.
